We announce the death of Stephen Kent of Joplin, Missouri, born in Superior, Nebraska, who passed away on July 11, 2026, at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his brothers, John and Tom. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Kent (Plumlee) of Joplin, Missouri.; his children, Chad Kent of Joplin and Carrie Kent of Joplin, Missouri.; his stepchildren, Heather Williams of Fairland, Kasey Hieller, Shawn of Miami, Kelly Smith and Michael of Riverton, Kansas.; and his siblings, Marty Kent of Independence and Delanna Williams (Andy). He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In Lieu of Flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Life Connection Church youth program or to the local Disabled Americans Veteran's of your choice.
