He is survived by: his wife Kim Taylor (Psajdl); and his children, Caesar Taylor, Liberty Taylor (Steve MacNamara), Thomas Taylor (Nicole) and Thor Taylor (Jennifer). He is also survived by grandchildren; and 8 beloved great-grandchildren.
He was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, played tight end on the football team, and was later honored with induction into the Chowan University Football Hall of Fame in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the program.
