He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Van Knotts and Mary Sue Knotts; his wife Caroll Knotts; and his sister Catherine Walton. He is survived by: his children, Roberta Lee Gunter (Jesse Harrod), Joseph D. Knotts, Belinda Marie Deblock and Rosalee Caroll Knotts (Jason Cobb); his brother Kenneth "Bo" Knotts; and his brothers-in-law, Dwight Walton and Irvine Davidson (Vicki). He is also survived by five grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.
