We announce the death of Catherine Winfrey of Kahoka, Missouri, who passed away on September 10, 2026, at the age of 68. Catherine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Catherine will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Catherine will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Catherine’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John K. Patrick and Gladys Starr Patrick; and her brothers, Steve Patrick and Timothy Patrick. She is survived by: her former husband John Phipps-Winfrey. She is also survived by furry companion, and by many dear friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Clark County Senior Center (222 N Lincoln St, Kahoka, MO 63445).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clark County Senior Center in memory of Catherine.
