He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Howell and Imogene Dieterich Howell; and his siblings, Loyd Howell (Helen), Emery Howell (Freda), Dean Howell, Glen Howell (Jean), Almeta Egbert (Linley), Evelyn Teel (Paul), Iva McKinney (Wayne) and Edna Schuster (Leland).
He is survived by: his children, Doris Gates of Kahoka, Gary Howell (Jan) of Gorin and Mark Howell (Yvette) of Montrose, IA; and his grandchildren, Kim Taylor (Beau) and Tristan Howell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vigen Memorial (278 W Main St, Kahoka, MO 63445). A procession will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Will Leave the Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Wyaconda Cemetery (25515 Locust St, Wyaconda, MO 63474).
