He was predeceased by : his parents, Tillman Houston and Treasure Penrod Waltman. He is survived by : his children, Michelle Coppler (Jody) of Keokuk and James Michael Houston (Ruby) of Keokuk; and his stepchildren, Heather Spory of Kahoka and Charles Spory (Kumiko) of Japan. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, one great-grandchild, three sisters and two brothers.
