She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Miller and Condella "Joyce" Collins Miller; her sisters, Vizinia O'Neal (Pat) and Joyce Ann Peterson; her niece Vizinia Michelle Long; her nephew Chris Waterman; and her sister-in-law Debra McCarty.
She is survived by: her husband James McCarty; her stepchildren, Tammy McCarty (David Markell), Sherry Slominski (Ken) and Dakota McCarty (Angela); her siblings, Conda Waterman (Gerald) and Mike Nye (Diane); her siblings-in-law, Patricia Petty (Tom), Priscilla McVeigh (Dave) and Gary McCarty; her aunt Marilyn Wallerstedt; and her caregiver Douglas Bucher. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
