We bid farewell to Larry L. Mitchell of Kahoka, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 22, 2026 at the age of 87. Larry touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, L. C. Mitchell and Goldie Perry Mitchell; his wife Linda Lou Mitchell; his in-laws, Howard and Ada Campbell; his daughters, Sally Paar and Penny Booth; his grandson Aron Long; his siblings, Jack Mitchell (Hilda) and Alene Patterson; his brother-in-law J. R. McDaniel; and his nephews, James Lee Wood and Michael Howard Wood.
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Pace (Eric) of Mt. Pleasant, Katrina Kay Long of Walnut Grove, Sam Mitchell of Kahoka, Mike Mitchell (Susie) of Hollister, Jeff Mitchell (Penny) of Keokuk and Todd Mitchell (Eddie) of Rowlett, Texas; his sister Allie McDaniel of Kahoka; and his brother-in-law Tim Patterson of Keokuk. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in care of Stephanie Pace.
