She was predeceased by : her parents, Troy Chesnut and Jennie Lee Chesnut (Floyd); her husband Calvin Hesse; her sisters, Fannie Kate and Emily Pauline Hankins; and her siblings-in-law, AJ "Chic" Anderson, Whit Bragg and Catherine Anderson Bragg.

She is survived by : her sons, John Calvin Hesse Jr. (Dawn) of Revere and Ricky Allen Hesse (Lucretia) of Kahoka; her grandchildren, Michelle Kleine (Keith), Devin Green (Jodi), Brandon Green (Crystal), Kristopher Hesse (Kris), Kodi Hesse and Kelsie Gerhardt (Joezf); and her great grandchildren, Jordan Green, McKenzie Green, Riley Cain Green, Chayson Kleine, Boden McKay Kleine, Graydon Kleine, Zachary Green, Ayden Allen Green and Emery Green.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Wilson & Triplett Funeral Home (975 E Main St, Kahoka, MO 63445). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Lola was also a volunteer for the American Cancer Society, a Cancer Crusade Chairman for 25 years, Habitat for Humanity, Clark County Chapter, and represented the Kahoka Presbyterian Church at the Ministers Association meetings.
