She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Beard and Dolly Beard (Brisby); her brother Edwin Beard; her sons, Tom and Bill Shaffer; her niece Linda Clough; and her granddaughters, Jamie and Amy.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Shaffer (Lynn) of Alexandria, Debbie Schoene (Richard) of Swisher, IA., Timothy Shaffer of Kahoka, MO. and Sandy Parrish West (John).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in memory of Maxine are suggested to Hospice Northeast Missouri.
