She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Stafford and Margaret Alice Smith Walker; her husband Wayne Bourgeois; her stepfather Albert Snider; her sons, Ronald and Benny Bourgeois; and her sister Mary Lynn Lillard.
She is survived by : her children, Wendel Bourgeois (Deon Norris) of Kahoka, MO and Lynn Palazzo (Dennis) of Oquawka, IL; her daughter-in-law Janet Bourgeois of Kahoka, MO; her granddaughter Bethany Wiemann (Cody); her son Brody; her son-in-law Jeremy Bourgeois (Miranda); her grandchildren, Erika, Aidan, Avery and Joshua Bourgeois (Nikki); her great grandchildren, Isabel and Adalyn; her grandchild Lacy McCormick (Shawn); her great grandchildren, Kylee, Emmalee, Ivy, Willa, Luke and Violet; her grandson Brandon Bourgeois (Korie); her great grandchildren, Piper and Blake; her stepgrandchildren, Marie Spence (Kraig), Aaron Palazzo, Keri Burns (Tim), Scott Norris (Beth), Ashley Norris and Nathan; her stepbrother Jim Snider; and also, Olivia, William, Missy, Ebony, Lexy, Cooper, Zadie, Everett, Rayne, Wade, Gabby and Theo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vigen Memorial (278 W Main St, Kahoka, MO 63445). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church (363 N Washington St, Kahoka, MO 63445).
Memorials may be made to Missouri Baptist Children's Home or to Shepherds Staff,(Shepherd's Staff will help Ina York's ministry in the Dominican Republic to go towards children's education and sewing projects to help support their families).
