It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Albert A. Russell of Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Weaver and Maria Weaver (Russell); his daughter Becky Maxwell; his brother-in-law Paul Steen; and his son-in-law Reed Butler.
He is survived by: his wife Grace Mary Russell; his sister Marianne Steen; his son Tony Russell; his children-in-law, Martie Russell and Jim Maxwell; his daughter Chris Butler; his grandchildren, Abi Arnold, Morgan Vejr (Jimmy), Carly Bennett (Jordan) and Matt Russell; and his great grandchildren, Luke Bennett and Wyatt Vejr. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McGilley State Line Chapel (12301 State Line Rd, Kansas City, MO 64145). A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to The American Cancer Society.
