We announce the death of Anthony R. Mathis (Kansas City, Missouri), born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 35. He was predeceased by: his father Bruce Pace of Columbus, OH.. He is survived by: his mother Yolanda Mathis; his friends, Ryman and Shawn; his sister Arielle Thomas; his grandparents, Carlene Ellis, Early Mathis (Phanelophe) and Arnita Pace of Mobile, AL; his uncles, Daryl Mathis (Lisa) and Anthony Holman; his nieces, Zola Rose and Dreaux Noelle; and his godparent Burnell Holman (Carrie). He is also survived by great aunts, great uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 141 N Lawndale Ave, Kansas City, MO 64123. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
