She was predeceased by : her parents, Matthew Fulson and Fannie Mae Fulson; and her husband Charles Lee Griffin Sr.. She is survived by : her children, Yolanda Griffin, Anthony Griffin (Tracy) and Charles Lee Griffin Jr. Kathryn; her siblings, Robert Fulson (Sue), Rosetta Burton, Delise Fulson and Delois Fulson; her grandchildren, Deontre Winston (Tara), Ke'Shawne Ingram, Ashley Allen, Carlton Rogers, Shantae Pitts, HaMishia Griffin, Marcus Jackson and Marvin Jackson Sr.; and her great grandchildren, Terell, Tyeesha, Deontre II, Winston, Amiyah Allen, Gianna Allen-Thomas, Halaijah Kitchen, Kasiyah Walker, Arionia, Keiana, Akeelah and Marvin Jackson Jr..

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Temple of Faith Missionary Baptist Church (3000 E Gregory Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64132). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
