He is survived by: his wife Joyce (Mansel); his children, Tim McElhaney (Angie) of Lake Waukomis and Mary Scheiner (Molly) of Sedalia; his grandchildren, Rachel Heafner (Jacob), Taylor McElhaney (Lindsey) of Kansas City and Nicholas McElhaney (Avery Russell) of Kansas City; his great grandchildren, Zebulon Heafner and Wesley McElhaney; his siblings, Bob McElhaney (Lucy) and Judy Kincer; and his sister-in-law Jean Hamachek of Chattanooga, Tennessee. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
