She was predeceased by: her parent Leonard Ruby Nell Bables; and her sister Betty Louise Bables. She is survived by: her husband Eddie Charles Richard; her daughter Twinkie Coretha Richard; her grandchildren, Zaccheaus Smith, Lawrence Henderson Jr., Larenz Henderson and Justice Brown; her great grandchild Lynex Henderson; her sister Marilyn Marie Bables; and her sibling's children, Christopher Tyrone Bable and Torrie (Micheal Garrett).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel, Inc. (4707 E Truman Rd, Kansas City, MO 64127). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the Lincoln Cemetery (1400 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64126).
After Brenda graduated from Summer High School in 1967, she went to work for the Economic Opportunity Foundation as a Teacher's Aide.
