He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl H. Nothnagel and Anna Nothnagel; his wife Marilyn Haster; his children, Cindy Law (Byron), Mark Nothnagel (Julie) and Matt Nothnagel (Mary); his grandchildren, Amanda, Meagan Law, Maggie Hart (Kip), Will Nothnagel and Matthew Nothnagel; and his sister Helen Stephens.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Elizabeth Social Services or Bishop Sullivan Center.
