With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carla McGee of Kansas City, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 27, 2025 at the age of 58. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carla McGee to pay them a last tribute.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Carla is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Carla's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband Andy McGee; and her granddaughter Savannah. She is survived by: her parents, Delbert Lampson and Janet Lampson; her son Andrew J. Runnebaum (Kendall Runnebaum); her grandchildren, Sam and Lily; and her siblings, Jeff Lampson, Sheila Lampson Alexander (Jim) and Michael Lampson (Bret). She is also survived by family members, friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grove Church (7027 N Locust St, Kansas City, MO 64118).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any organization that supports children or to NorthCare Hospice House.
