He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. King and Marguerite Deitz; his grandfather Charles "Jack" King; his uncle Baird A. King; his sister Phyllis Sauter; and his son-in-law Terry Allison.

He is survived by: his wife Mary King; his sister Jacqueline Stoltzfus; his children, Tammy Allison and John King; his daughter-in-law Kelly King; his grandchildren, Katie Allison (Rob Frazier), Michael Allison (Kara), Erika Storm (Brad) and Jake King (Raelynn); and his great grandchildren, Caroline King and Harley Allison. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
