She is survived by: her aunt Lettie Ruth Gordon; her children, Sincere, Dedicated, Patricia Akers, Jacqueline Simmons (Russell), Sharon Flournoy and Vern Hopkins, Jr.; her stepchildren, Barbara Hill and Rodney Perry; and her grandchildren, Antuione, Deborah, Latanya, Henry, Dana, Harvey, Myles, Sondra, Kevin, Natalie, Samuel and James. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
