He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Fuchs and Elsie Fuchs (Hildebrand); his wife Helen E. Hix; and his daughter-in-law Tonya Fuchs. He is survived by: his children, Randall Fuchs of Warrensburg, MO and Debra Winship (James); his grandchildren, Josh (Vanessa), Kyle (Becky), Jarrod (Errin) and Alaina; and his siblings, Grace Harris (Barry) of Rossford, OH and Michael Fuchs (Susan) of Colleyville, TX.. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews and many extended family members and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Matthew Lutheran Church (700 NE Chipman Rd, Lee's Summit, MO 64063).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, St. Matthew Lutheran Church, or the Veteran's Community Project, in honor of David's generous spirit and commitment to service.
