He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Dorothy Hensley, Samuel Hensley, Fred Gardner and Elvena Crump; and his uncles, Bobby Hensley and Donald Hensley.

He is survived by : his parents, Jack Hensley (Carole) and Diana Belmont (Donald); his brother Mark Steven Hensley (Terri); his stepsiblings, Kendal Lee Foster (Heather) and Gwen Cameron (Doug); his nephews, Sam, Aidan Cameron, Kai, Sienna and Paige Foster; his aunts, Charlotte Tyler (Mike), Patty Bloomfield (Stewart), Cindy Crumley and Sissie Fleshman (Rudy); and his cousins, Angie Winder (John) and Nancy Denig (David). He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Dearborn Christian Church (205 S May St, Dearborn, MO 64439). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
