She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth S Gravitt and Lester G Whitlock; her husband John Velmer Cooper; her daughter Christy; and her daughter-in-law Linda.
She is survived by: her children, Christina, Donna and Gary; her family, Donna Lawson (David), Gary Cooper, Beverly Floyd, Paul Suddarth and Charles Whitlock; and her caregiver Chamin Thomas. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
