He is survived by: his wife Willa Dean Jurek; his children, Frank Jurek, Roger Jurek, Bernadine Svendgard and Gloria Schimmelpfenneg; and his sister Jackie Wojtowicz. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Saint Gabriel Archangel Parish (4737 N Cleveland Ave, Kansas City, MO 64117). A rosary was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:45 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Saint Mary Magdalene Cemetery (5226 S 46th St, Omaha, NE 68117).
