He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stanford Turk and Bertha Mae Evelyn Chamberlain; his grandmothers, Jennie Lee Turk and Leona Jackson; his aunts, Ida Turk, Alice Anne Jackson and Della Frazier; his uncle Frank Turk; his siblings, Rudy Workcuff, Sam Phillips, LaRue Gilbert, Cheryl "Cookie" Workcuff and Francis Nelson; and his son Allen Brock Workcuff.
He is survived by: his son Galen Patrick Workcuff Jr.; his spouse Ruthe Evette Brock; his children, Ebonee Grace Workcuff and Cynthia Bennett (Thomas); his siblings, Gail Walton (Alfred), LaRoi Workcuff (Janet), Dr. Shelia Chamberlain, Stan Phillips and Karen Harper-Walker (Raymond); his brother-in-law Clavis "Red" Gilbert Sr.; and his cousin Melvin Jackson. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Victory Temple (3301 E 12th St, Kansas City, MO 64127). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
