With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elva Dodson of Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on May 29, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elva Dodson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Walker and Victoria Lively (Dean); and her sister Edna Lea Campbell. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Jerry Dodson (Letha), Sharon Miller (Craig) and Richard Dodson (Kathryn); her grandchildren, Angela Heldenbrand (Duane), Scott Dodson, Andrea Langton (Luke), Nathan Miller (Megan), Shelby Dodson and Ryan Dodson; and her sister Thelma Hipple. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home (104 Church St, Smithville, MO 64089).
