She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Vargas Pecina and Luisa Pecina (Carreon); her former husband Earl Willard Shryer; her son Earl Dean Shryer; and her siblings, Arturo, Laura, Jacob, Jovita, Lucio, Isaias, Minerva, Antonio, Jose Luis and Victor Hugo.
She is survived by: her sister Olivia Lopez (Pecina); her daughter Elvia Farley; and her grandchildren, Monique Groninger (Lee), Ashley Floyd (Ismael), Jesse Shryer (Corina) and Alyssa Allen (Jesse). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
