It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Equilla Ross (Kansas City, Missouri), who passed away on October 27, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his siblings, James Ross, Rosie Green, Addie Ross, Veola Ross, Maple Smith, Sarah Ross, Yuonita Sims, Queen Esther Kindred and Bernice Milligan.

He is survived by : his wife Friedel Clay (Mason); his brother Otto Ross Jr. (Flora); his children, Rev. LaVetta Ross-Hall of Ewing, NJ and Terry Clay Sr. (Demetria) of Blue Springs, MO; and his grandchildren, Maya S. Hall of Chicago, IL, Damika Clay of Blue Springs, MO, McKaya Hall of Ewing, NJ, Myles Hall of New Melle, MO and Terry Clay Jr. of Blue Springs, MO.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
