He is survived by: his children, Frederick Givhan of Arlington, TX and Adrienne Owens of Kansas City, KS; his siblings, Cherl Owens of Kansas City, KS and Robert Owens of Kansas City, KS; and his fiancé Robin of Kansas City, KS. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
