Gail Swift Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Gail Swift of Kansas City, Missouri. Gail, born on August 22, 1936, passed away on September 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clark Kenneth Horn and Leah Frances Horn (McKinnon); her sister Sandra; her husband Ivan; and her son Craig.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Wittmeyer (Mark) of Platte City, MO, Michelle Darby (Hershel) of Kyle, TX and AnnMarie Raben of Austin, TX. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM and at 10:45 AM at the Apostles Catholic Church (17900 Humphrey's Rd, Platte City, MO 64079). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the XII Apostles Catholic Church (17900 Humphrey's Rd, Platte City, MO 64079). A reception was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Riverstone Retirement Community (9000 N Congress Ave, Kansas City, MO 64153).
