He is survived by: his sister Betty Hayes; his sons, Tom Watson (Angie), Jim Persell (Kathy), Nate Persell (Shawn), Phil Persell (Regina), Sam Persell (Jeanie), Frank Watson and Greg Watson; his grandchildren, Madilyn Watson (Meadow), Anna Persell, Tara Persell (Delaney) of Cole Persell, TJ, Hillary Smith (Anthony), Shallyn Persell-Mauk (Jesse), Nick Persell (Morgan), Lance Persell and Autum Aleto (Michael); and his wife Gloria Dorian.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Parish (1357 NE 42nd Terrace, Kansas City, MO 64116). A Mass was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Terrace Park Funeral Home & Cemetery (801 NW 108th St, Kansas City, MO 64155).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkville Woman's Health, and St Mary's Food Pantry.
