He was predeceased by: his parents, Neil Arthur Helbling and Margaret Louise "Peg" Helbling (Perkiser). He is survived by: his wife Regina Withers (Gina) of Lee's Summit; his brother Bill; his sister-in-law Deb Helbling; his nephew Matthew Helbling; and his nieces, Joy Wheeler (Helbling) and Bethany Palmer (Helbling). He is also survived by nine great-nieces and great-nephews and one great-great-nephew.
