She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Lane and Velma Lane; and her sister Mary Stewart (Rosabeth Huffman). She is survived by: her son William "Bill" Allan McFarlane; and her nieces and nephews, Judith Klink, Tina Stewart, Steve Stewart and Scott Stewart.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Health Center (10000 Wornall Rd, Kansas City, MO 64114). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery & Green Lawn Cemetery (8251 Hillcrest Rd, Kansas City, MO 64138).
