He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Klein and Rose Klein; and his brothers, Francis, Charles, Norbert, Arnold and Raymond.
He is survived by: his wife Dona; his friend Dave; his children, Bart Klein (Holly), Todd Klein (Pam) and Dawn Klein Thibodeau; his grandchildren, Kristin, Kara, Jamie, Michael, Courtney, Kenzie and Madeline; and his great grandchildren, Claire and Mia.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (900 NE Shady Ln Dr, Kansas City, MO 64118). A Mass was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dave's memory to St. Charles Food Pantry (900 NE Shady Lane Drive, Kansas City, MO 64118) or the Bishop Sullivan Center (3936 Troost Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64110).
