He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hicks and Velvie Hicks; and his brother Ray. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, JoAnn of Glenn, JR, Butch (Jo Ann), Donna and Carla (Brian); and his grandchildren, Angie, Jeff, Jamie, Jesse, Sarah, Donna Jo and Marcus. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild.
