She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Slansky and Margaret Slansky; her husband Leo Burger; and her siblings, Betty Sell, Waunetta Shriver, Roy Slansky and Gary Slansky.

She is survived by: her aunt Bessie Shriver; her sister Toya Kasiska of Hays, Kansas; her children, Steve (Donna Burger) of Lockesburg and Luetta (Jim Flournoy) of Kansas City, Missouri; her grandchildren, Steve Burger (Roneisa Matero) of Ringold and Rebecca (Matt Ainsworth) of Columbia, Missouri; her great grandchild Allison Burger of Hutchinson, Kansas; her great great grandchild Izaak Burger of Hutchinson, Kansas.; and her extended family, Brad and Lori Barnes.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Antioch Baptist Church in Ada, Kansas are suggested.
