Gregory Anthony Russell Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 22, 2025, Gregory Anthony Russell in Kansas City, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Gregory Anthony farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Gregory Anthony is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joyce Hamilton and Jim Russell; his wife Darla Russell; and his children, Gregory Russell II, Banner Sky, Brock Russell, Blake Miller and Bailey Towner. He was also cherished by his eight grandchildren; and a large extended family.

In lieu of flowers, the family has opened up a memorial fund in his name: Community America Credit Union Gregory Russell Memorial Fund.
