With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gregory Ron Haflich (Kansas City, Missouri), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Gregory Ron is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Gregory Ron's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center (8788 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66212). Upon retiring in 2020, Greg chose to step away from work during the pandemic so he could spend more time with his granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Wildwood Outdoor Education Center.
