She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Burris and Ida Burris. She is survived by: her foster daughter Judy Waterman of Kansas City, MO; and her close friend Carlton Morton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Et Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care - Albemarle (1835 Badin Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001).
