He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Ida Dötterl; his wife Debbie; his daughter Angie; his grandson Graham of Kansas City, Missouri; his siblings, Peter Dötterl (Hanni) and Susan Douglas; his parent Ida Douglas; his stepfather Charles Douglas; and his parents-in-law, Stella and LeClere Nanney.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Peter's Parish (701 E Meyer Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64131). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Moudy's Bar and Grill (2151 W Terra Ln, O'Fallon, MO 63366).
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request a donation to the Caryl Francis-Niedens Memorial Fund for Neuropathic Research at KU.
