He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucian Harold and Freda Sherman (Beatie). He is survived by: his wife Darlene Toellner; his daughters, Ashley Sherman, Suzanne Dispensa (Stephen) and Elizabeth Henak (Cody); and his grandchildren, Charlotte, Phoebe, Oscar Dispensa and Oliver.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to King of Kings Lutheran Church or Mid-Continent Public Library.
