She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Garber and Gertrude Garber (Ormsbee); her husband Basil W. Johnson; and her sisters, Arlene Jacoby (Basil) and Donna Christiansen.

She is survived by: her children, Randall Wagner (Maggie), Rita Hautzenroder (Mike) and Russ Johnson (Heather); her stepdaughter Lucinda Ward; her grandchildren, Angi (Jae), Annie May (Preston), Jon (Shaundra), Victoria (Mark), Olivia and Sophia; her stepgrandchildren, Melissa (Pat), April (Eugene), Lindsey (Joey), Kelsey, Dylan (Hanah) and Nic; and her great grandchildren, Zeneca, Nehemiah, Ezariah, Evelia, Evelyn and Francis. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great step-grandchildren.

Ilene requested no flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Superior City Auditorium.
