He was predeceased by: his parents, Christina Katzer and Bernard Katzer; his brother Roger; and his granddaughter Franki Jo. He is survived by: his wife Carol Katzer; his siblings, Ron (Crystal) and Donna; his children, Kimberly Wilmsen (James), Christy Nunn (Jameson) and Jeffry Katzer (Lisa Ribaste); his grandchildren, Kristen, Kyle, Grace, Samantha, MacKenzie, Adam, Cody, Louis, Alexis and Dianna; and his great grandchildren, Rowan, Carter, Elliott, Olivia, Amelia, Rosalynn, Piper and Charlie.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Knights of Columbus Hall (5111 E 112 Terrace, Kansas City, MO 64137).
