For Jack Edward is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy C. Heustis and Oneida R. Weegar Heustis; his brothers, Harry "Bus" Heustis and Billy Heustis; and his sister-in-law Patricia Heustis.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah A. Nielson and Michael E. Heustis; his son-in-law Brian Nielson; and his sisters, Norma Lee Myers and Carole Louise Herron. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; twelve nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Forest Hill & Calvary Cemetery (6901 Troost Ave, Kansas City, MO 64131).
