She was predeceased by: her parents, Don E. Williams and Fern Williams (Polston); her husband Jay Ricketts; her siblings, DeAnna Hatten and John Mark Williams; and her nephew Brad Hatten.
She is survived by: her daughters, Christina Marra of Lee's Summit and Denise Schwartz (John) of Blue Springs; and her grandchildren, Michael Marra, Caroline Cross (Taylor), Jaylie Giles, Brandon Schwartz and Carter Schwartz. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a large extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Speaks Suburban Chapel (18020 East 39th St S, Independence, MO 64055). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Alzheimer's Association (alz.org) in Jane's memory. Alzheimer's is a vicious, cruel disease that stole so much from her and those who loved her.
