He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter "Jack" Irby and Ruth Leone Irby (Fisher); his stepmother LaVonne Irby; and his siblings-in-law, Jennie Lorene Gentry, Robert Gentry and Frances Gentry.
He is survived by: his wife Alma Irene of Northboro, Iowa.; his children, Kelly Lorene Sievert (Stephen) and Tracy Lee Irby; his brother Don Irby; and his sister-in-law Tamra Gentry Murphy. He is also survived by five nieces; three nephews and other deeply loved family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wayside Waifs, Kansas City, Missouri.
