He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephina Tinoco (Rocha) and Gregorio Tinoco; his children, Yolanda Cervantes and Steven Tinoco; and his siblings, John Tinoco, Gabriel, Albert and Carmen Soltero.
He is survived by: his brother Gabe; his wife Paula Vaca; his pet Jack Daniel; his sons, Louis Tinoco (Rita) and Mark Tinoco (Lisa); his son-in-law Jesus Cervantes; and his caregiver Constance Tinoco. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
