John C. Baker Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John C. Baker of Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on February 23, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Baker and Rita Baker; and his brother Thomas Baker. He is survived by: his wife Mary Baker; his children, Jackson Baker (Allison), Emily Baker and Samuel Baker (Dianna); his grandchildren, JJ, Louise, Remi and Gus; and his siblings, Kathleen Frederickson (Steve), Patty Vilag, Janet O'Hara (Kevin) and Bill (Tracy Halward).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or the Ozark River Ways Foundation.
