He was predeceased by: his sisters, Betty Poe and Ann Grable; and his mother Minnie Larssen. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Shepherd; his children, Kenny (Meredith) and Natalie (James); his grandchildren, Ian (Alexiss), Cole, Voss, Blake, Violet and Wesley; and his sister Patricia Jackson. He is also survived by brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Floral Hills Funeral Home (7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
