He is survived by: his son John David Long (Deanna) of Kansas City, MO; his son-in-law Rick Ova of Bonner Springs, KS; his brothers, Ronnie Long of Ohio and Dick Long (Linda) of Novinger, MO; his grandchildren, Jennifer Sanderson (Jason), Joshua Ova (Lindsay), Rebecca Phillips (Rodney), Ross Long and Riley Long; and his great grandchildren, Julie, Jordan, Dean, Jenna, Harper and Layton.
